What is Prospects North?

Prospects North is an advanced recruitment and evaluation program specializing in helping deserved Canadian high school baseball players get recruited by U.S. college baseball programs.

At what age should an athlete begin considering Prospects North?

Most college recruiters begin searching for potential signees up to two years prior to their graduation year. The recruitment process can be lengthy. Waiting too long to prepare often results in otherwise qualified athletes being overlooked upon graduation from high school.

Can any Canadian high school aged baseball player enter the program?

No. Prospects North is an elite level program. All applicants must first meet certain standards to be granted acceptance into the Program. This is necessary for the Program to continue to be viewed as credible by the recruiters who use it.

Does enrolling in the Prospects North Program guarantee a player will be recruited by U.S. college baseball programs?

No. While Prospects North greatly increases a student-athlete’s chances of recruitment, in the end, the athlete’s academic and on-field performance will be the final factors.

Will Prospects North accept student-athletes from anywhere across Canada?

Yes. Assuming they have met Program standards, any Canadian student-athlete can be accepted into the Program.
