Prospects North is a service created to help deserving Canadian high school age baseball players get recruited by American college programs. This service provides specifically what college recruiters want from a third party evaluator.

Whether you are a parent or a player you will likely agree that college recruitment is a very grey area in Canada. Parents and players either have no idea how to get recruited or are relying strictly on a coach to get them placed. This just isn't sufficient. The window of opportunity is too small to wait and assume it will just happen. The Prospects North Program was directly designed based on input from recruiters from both the NCAA and NAIA.

Among the various resources available to program entrants are pro scout evaluation, having a skills tape filmed, assessed via an Athletic Personality Profile, creating a personal online profile in the Prospects North database as well as having access to important and relevant online links and information.

Finally, the player will now be represented by people who have credibility in the minds of the recruiters, and that is a key factor.

This is not a simple web service that mass emails a player's profile or athletic "resume" to any coach with an email address. Mass emailing is a waste of your time and money and most recruiters view such services as unreliable and a nuisance. At Prospects North people will be working to get kids placed.
